Russ Lemcke inducted into USCA Hall of Fame

This month our club’s founder Russ Lemcke was inducted into the United States Curling Association’s Hall of Fame in the builder category for his amazing work as an ambassador for the sport. If you’ve ever talked to Russ, you know his enthusiasm and passion for curling is eclipsed only by his friendliness. And of course the South Shore Curling Club owes Russ a great debt of gratitude, being one of the many curling clubs he started:

Russ’s commitment to the growth of curling has resulted in more than a dozen new and future arena curling clubs (in about 12 years). That includes clubs in California, Kentucky, Nantucket and his latest triumph, the Lower Cape Curling Club at the Charles Moore Arena in Orleans.

Congratulations, Russ — you’ve earned it!
