GNCC arena update... both teams had a lot of fun and they want to thank the Ocean State Curling Club for being great spiel hosts. Team Walker had an unfortunate showing, losing all of their games, but against really fun teams. Team Quinn made it to the B semifinals this morning, but unfortunately lost. Mudspiel update... the Muddy Chucks played in the D finals this morning at 11am. It was against a tough Broomstones Curling Club team. After giving up 1 in the first, blanking the second, they took two in the 3rd, and then stole 1 in the 4th, 5th and 6th, gave up one in thr 7th and kept the 8th clean enough until the other team ran out of rocks, taking the win.
