2021 Lemcke Bowl Finals
Just like our recent Broom & Button Cup finals, the 2021 Lemcke Bowl Finals was a close game that came down to the final shot!
The top 8 pointspiel finishers playing for the Lemcke Bowl were Jamie Quinn, Andy Jussaume, Amy Smith and Steve Falconer vs. Kieran Chapman, LeRoy Woodman, Dan Smith and Heather McIvor.
It was a close back-and-forth game with Team Chapman jumping ahead early, but Team Quinn fighting back to take a 2 point lead going into the 8th end. Chapman was sitting 1 with the hammer, and Kieran was able to angle in one of his stones on his final shot to score 2 and tie the game.
Now the skips had one shot to draw to the button, with the closest rock winning. Kieran threw first and ended up in the back 8 of the house. But Andy’s rock was a bit heavier, giving Team Chapman the win.
