Learn to Curl: March 29

Learn to curl with the South Shore Curling Club!

No previous curling experience is necessary and we provide all the equipment. The 2 hour session starts by teaching you the basics of curling, including:

• how to properly deliver a curling stone
• sweeping technique (and why it’s done)
• curling team positions
• rules, strategy and scoring.

About half the time is spent on instruction. The other half is spend playing a short game against another team of fellow LTC participants — everybody wins!  

Arrive for registration between 8:15pm-8:45pm; we get on the ice by 9pm. You can watch an intro video about curling here, and pre-sign a participation release form.
