Suddenly, curling is cool

Popularized by the Olympics, curling clubs are popping up all over the region. There’s already a club in Rhode Island and in Falmouth, and soon there will be one in Bridgewater.
Located only a few miles away from Bridgewater State College, the South Shore Curling Club held an open house at the Bridgewater Ice Arena on Saturday, May 1. The club was expecting about 30 people to show up but more than 40 did, ranging in age from their 20s to their 70s.
